Tattoo Apprenticeship

My tattoo apprenticeship laid the foundation for the way I work today—intentionally, thoughtfully, and with a deep respect for craft. Under the guidance of experienced artists, I learned the fundamentals of tattooing from the ground up: machine building and maintenance, hygiene and safety, needle theory, and the technical discipline behind clean linework and shading.
Beyond the technical training, my apprenticeship pushed me to grow as an artist. I developed my own drawing practice, refined my understanding of composition, and learned how to translate ideas into custom designs that honor each client’s story.
This period shaped not just my skills, but my values in the studio: collaboration, communication, and creating a calm, welcoming space for every person who sits in my chair. My apprenticeship was the beginning of a career built on curiosity, consistency, and care—principles that still guide my work today.
